GREENWOOD, S.C. — Greenwood County voters have three places to cast a ballot ahead of Election Day once early voting for the statewide general election opens Monday, Oct. 19.
In the city of Greenwood, the center is Noah J Events at 115 Hampton Avenue. North of town, the Little River Multicultural Complex on Riley Road North in Hodges is also open, and the Ninety Six visitor center on Main Street East serves the southeastern part of the county.
Any registered Greenwood County voter can use any of the three. The centers keep the same schedule statewide, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and early voting wraps up Saturday, Oct. 31.
Voters need a photo ID at the check-in table, just as they would at their usual precinct, and they use the same voting machines as on Election Day.
Election Day itself is Tuesday, Nov. 3, when every precinct in the county opens.
