On April 22, 2025, Augusta achieved back-to-back shutouts with wins of 3-0 and 7-0 against Anderson University. This success moved their overall record to 28-25 and showcased notable individual talents among the Jaguars roster.

In the first game against Anderson, pitcher Ansley Gibson played a pivotal role, earning her 10th win of the season. Gibson pitched five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and recording two strikeouts. The offense was spearheaded by Bailee Roberts, who delivered a two-out RBI single in the third inning to bring in Kaylynn Scaffe. The Jaguars furthered their lead in the fourth inning with a double from Sam Winder and a single from Nevaeh Ross, concluding the game with a sixth-inning run driven in by Ross.

The second game saw Payton Terrell on the mound, who improved her record to 5-3 by striking out two batters and allowing only one hit over six innings. Bailee Roberts ignited the scoring with a solo home run in the third inning. A six-run sixth inning, highlighted by Audrey Johnson’s three-RBI double, sealed the 7-0 victory for Augusta.

Subsequent to their success against Anderson, Augusta prepared to face Lander University for the final series of the regular season. The highly anticipated Senior Day event took place on April 26, 2025, but the Jaguars faced a tough defeat in both games. The pitching staff also continued to show resilience, with Madalyn Spinks pitching six innings in the second game while contributing to the team’s efforts alongside Terrell.

The season concluded with recognition for three of Augusta’s players, who were named to the 2025 Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Team.
