He left behind four nieces and one nephew, alongside other extended family members including Randy Wiley (Debbie) of Greenwood, SC, and Kevin Wiley of Utah. He was preceded in death by his sister, Myra Elaine Moore Wilt.
The community gathered to honor him with graveside services held at 1 p.m. on October 7, 2025, at Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville. Mr. Ronnie Alexander officiated the graveside services. The Moore family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Greenwood Lutheran Church, located at PO Box 49369, Greenwood, SC 29649. The Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Abbeville is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
