Allie Pauline “Polly” Hendricks Parham, aged 96, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at National HealthCare in Greenwood. Parham had previously resided in Elberton, GA, before her move to Greenwood. Funeral arrangements are still being planned and details will be announced later. In another loss for the Greenwood community, Suzanne Thomason Rowland, 87, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Friday, May 23, 2025. Rowland was originally from Greenwood and was the daughter of the late C.Y. Thomason Sr. and Aline Zimmerman Thomason. A graduate of Greenwood High School, she spent her life in the region, where she will be remembered fondly.
