By the end of the third quarter, they had stretched their advantage to 47-38, sending their fanbase into a frenzy. However, Canisteo-Greenwood showed great resilience, refusing to back down.

With just under three minutes left in regulation, Lyons seemed in a commanding position, holding a 56-47 lead. But just when it looked like Lyons might sail to victory, Canisteo-Greenwood orchestrated a stunning comeback, reeling off a 9-0 run to tie the game at 1:18 on the clock. As both teams jockeyed for a chance to claim victory in the closing seconds, the tension was palpable.

The excitement didn’t end in regulation. With just four seconds remaining, Canisteo-Greenwood managed a clutch basket that forced the game into overtime, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. In another match, HAC fell to Williamson with a score of 61-46, where DJ Barber shined with 23 points. Additionally, Haverling narrowly beat Penn Yan with a score of 55-51, highlighted by Jacob Hagadone‘s stellar performance with 24 points.

Lastly, Victor managed a victory against McQuaid with a final score of 70-60, thanks to Griffin Hopkins leading the scoreboard with 24 points.
