A 16-year-old teenager has been charged with murder after a shooting incident at an Arby’s restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina, on April 17. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the fast-food establishment located at 7521 Garners Ferry Road around 9:30 p.m.
In addition to the murder charge, the teen faces charges of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. As the suspect is underage, his identity has not been disclosed. The victim was identified as Aaron J. Weibel, a 34-year-old resident of Camden, according to Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford.

During the struggle, the teenager shot Weibel once in the upper body. The coroner’s office is currently assisting law enforcement with the ongoing investigation into the incident.
