Greenwood, SC – Lander University’s baseball team has captured a share of their second consecutive Peach Belt Conference (PBC) title after securing an impressive 8-3 victory against Georgia Southwestern. This win marks a significant milestone for the Bearcats as they celebrate their third regular-season championship in program history, having previously won titles in 2014 and 2024.
Finishing the 2025 season with an overall record of 37-13, Lander demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, achieving a solid 23-4 record within the Peach Belt Conference. As a result of their stellar performance, they will enter the upcoming PBC tournament as the No. 2 seed.
The Peach Belt Conference Tournament is scheduled to take place from May 2nd-4th at Dolny Stadium, located on the Lander University campus. The tournament will feature a four-team double-elimination bracket that includes teams such as Georgia College, Flagler, and USC Aiken. Lander’s first round matchup will see them facing off against USC Aiken on Friday at 3 p.m..
