Located at the United Way of the Lakelands at 929 Phoenix St, the center will be open on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center will provide in-person assistance through January 31, 2025, ensuring that South Carolinians impacted by the hurricane have the help they need.

Homeowners and renters are encouraged to apply for federal assistance directly at the center. However, the quickest way to seek aid is through DisasterAssistance.gov. You can also utilize the FEMA app or call the toll-free number 800-621-3362 for assistance. January 31, 2025, the area experienced alarming power outages. A staggering 99.4% of utility customers—totaling 26,924 out of 27,077—were affected, leaving many without essential power.
