Born in Statesville, North Carolina, Mr. Myers was the son of the late Adolphus Preston “Dob” Myers and Lou Zella Smith Myers. He proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long and successful career with Myers Construction Co., Inc. and Church Street Apartments.

An outdoor enthusiast, Mr. Myers enjoyed activities such as hunting and fishing. He was also known as an avid traveler and a member of the Electric City Shag Club, showcasing his love for social gathering and dancing. Additionally, he was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Pendleton, reflecting his commitment to community and faith.

Mr. Myers is survived by his children, Lisa Myers Caveny and Mark Edward Myers, both of Pendleton. He is also survived by two sisters, Katherine Myers Nivens (married to Don) of Moore, SC, and Martha Myers Brewer (married to Ansel) of Greenwood, SC. Furthermore, he had a grand dog named Ella Grace, who provided companionship throughout his later years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers: James Myers, Preston Myers, Jesse Myers, and Baby Henry Myers. His legacy will be remembered fondly by friends and family alike.
